| As each petal peels away it exposes another hand of bananas. | As each hand of bananas is opened, they get longer and greener |

| At the top of the flower bud you can see some small undeveloped bananas that have come out. | Four full hands of bananas are now developing. |
 |
 |
| Five new hands are out now and several new hands of tiny bananas are ready for gowth on top the flower. |
The hands begin to mature and gain color and size. |
